We have a number of ongoing projects focused on improving the soil quality and reinstating waterways. In 2023 we have sewn a legume and herb rich sword in 14 acres of permeant grassland. This mix provides food and habitat for insects and pollinators, and improves soil structure. These meadows were then grazed with a neighbouring farm's sheep, as their small feet help to drive the seed into the ground, and support us in establishing the new herb rich sword in spring. In 2024 we will start a new project restoring the two ponds and main waterways.
