After a number of years unable to graze the woods, we lost the meadows in the valley to brambles. This year we have been painstakingly reclaiming these meadows by hand, and have now reseeded with a herb and legume rich meadow mix. This mix is specially blended to support soil health, and is also great for grazing. We have also been busy reinstating old routes through the woods along the riverbank; and been able to fence the perimeter of the woods to control future grazing in this area.
