As a teenager I built a mountainboarding track on the slopes down towards the woodland, which has been set-aside for a number of years. We are now re-wilding the area to be a wildlife haven on the farm. In 2023 we planted 140 new trees here this year and have protected the area with new fencing so that it is not disturbed by grazing.
